Every year, with some seasonally detected variations in timing and scale the short rains begin around early November.
A little after this, in late November and December, the migration increases its pace towards southern of Serengeti where the short rains are regenerating new grass with rich of nutrient. These are south and east of Seronera, around Ndutu Area and include the north of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. They stay here through January, February and March; December is the peak month for zebra birth but most of wildebeest calves born in a short window around February
These phenomenon events attract a lot of predators such lion, leopard, cheetah, with a bunch of scavengers like Spotted hyena, fox, and birds of prey
Day 1: Arrive Kilimanjaro International Airport
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and greet by our representative, assisted with your baggage then board your vehicle, transfer to your hotel in Arusha town. After shower and rest our safari briefer and safari driver guide, will meet with you for briefing of the tour (it all depends with your arrival time otherwise it will be done the next day morning before departure). You will overnight on bed and breakfast basis at the Hotel in Arusha on BB.
Day 2: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, depart from the lodge and drive to the Great Serengeti National Park with lunch boxes. Going to Serengeti we will pass via Ngorongoro Conservation Area, follows along the Great Rift Valley, Ngorongoro Conservation area and crater rim, onwards Olduvai Gorge for a brief visit of the museum where Dr. Leaky unearthed the secret of man’s early evolution. You will enter the Southern plains of the Serengeti National Park game viewing en-route to overnight at the lodge/camp on full board basis.
Day 3: Serengeti National Park
Early morning game drive last for 1-2hrs and drive back for breakfasts. After breakfast collects your lunch boxes Begin game drive in southern Serengeti at Ndutu area, where thousands calves are born in this area yearly during this season and it’s attract predators. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/camp on FB.Day 4: Serengeti National Park

Today you have option to go for with lunch box or return to the lodge /camp for hot lunch. Exploring the beauty of Serengeti while it is dew having the best time of your life around this beautiful area which is rich of Wildlife. The tour will start early morning for 2hrs. Return to the lodge for full breakfast, before proceeding with afternoon game drive in the park. Picnic lunch will be provided to maximize your time for game view. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp on full board basis.
Day 5: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today after early breakfast depart with picnic lunch drive to Ngorongoro via Naabi Hill Gate, descend to the floor of the crater for crater tour, Ngorongoro crater it’s a unique caldera that stretches 20km in diameter, is home to its very own eco-system .enjoy your picnic lunch at Ngoitokitok picnic site. Then later during the day ascend to the crater rim for last glance proceed to the Karatu for dinner and overnight at the lodge on full board basis.
Day 6: Ngorongoro to Arusha – JRO
After breakfast drive to Arusha town, arrive for lunch and drop-off at the airport for your departure flight.
