Pick up from Arusha town, and drive to Arusha National Parks 25 km east of the city between Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. This is a wonderful day trip to explore the wildlife in Arusha National Park Early in the morning.
The Park covers an area of 137km ² and has terrain ranging from open savannah through acacia scrublands to Afro-alpine vegetation like his brother Mount Kilimanjaro. There are several alkaline Lakes creating another beautiful feature of this magnificent small park when flamingos flock on it. The rugged Mount Meru (4575m) is one of the four distinctive features of the park. The park has a wealth of wildlife including Columbus monkeys, vervet monkeys, bushbucks, buffaloes, red forest duikers, elephants, and giraffes. Birdlife, especially waterfowl, is abundant and interesting.

Early morning pick up from the hotel with packed lunch and proceed to Arusha National Park for game viewing in the Park. Here expect to see game such as buffaloes, giraffes, Monkeys, and elephants. Break off for refreshment and lunch at the picnic site. After lunch continue with the game drive to Momella Crater/Momella Lakes for bird watch and depending on the season you might see flamingoes. Late evening, drive back to Arusha.
